Our work

NaPAN was formed to coordinate the work of podoconiosis project implementing partners in Ethiopia. The specific objectives of NaPAN are:

  • To coordinate member organizations efforts in order to provide timely response for podoconiosis patients and people at risk 
  • To connect member organizations to information and resources
  • To strengthen member organizations partnership and coordination with government, donors and other development actors
  • To coordinate information collection and dissemination among member organizations and also with other stakeholders 
  • To build the capacity of member organizations
  • To solve challenges faced by member organizations by negotiating with concerned bodies
  • To share experienceand foster best practice among organizations working on podoconiosis

Our Mission: To coordinate and standardize efforts for the elimination of podoconiosis, to build the capacity of members and other stakeholders, and to support research for evidence based interventions.
